A series. It originally aired in early 60’s (I was watching) and I think every episode featured a short segment with Mr. Peabody. & Sherman. There was also a movie version of the show, before (I think) this movie.

That might make for an interesting blog post. The show was marketed toward children but there were many subtle messages that only adults would pick up. You have to keep the time period (1959-64) in mind. Cold War was going strong.
